As we all know Obama flat out supports UNION but McCain hints at approval for civil unions.
But I was amazed with what Sen. McCain said two different things in about few minutes.
Moral issue:
McCain: Failure of my 1st Marriage:
Marriage:
McCain: Union between one man and one woman.
But did it apply to his own life?

Faith Forum - Definition of Rich
Ah, this got my attention and I could not stop writing.
Pastor: Define Rich.
Obama: anybody who earns more than $ 250K
McCain: anybody who earns more than $ 5M
The difference between two candidates is for sure vast, but I was amazed with the difference in the payroll, thats about $4.75M. Well, I think thats about 2% of Americans.
McCain said AMERICA was not about taxes in the past but rather he said its all about "SPENDING", he did mention about $ 3M DNA research of BEARS which is laughable (crowd agreed) but what he forgot to mention was our spending of almost $10 Billion (with a B) in IRAQ, with that money if spend here in home we could achieve so many domestic issues. He always talks about spending but he never talks about paying his plans, if we don't tax properly or proportionally then whats the INCOME for the Federal Government to fulfill his ambition.
Anyway the FORUM was good and it did bring out the honesty from the candidates on the issue (I think).

Obamas and Faith
Some say he is Muslim, Some say he is not all Christian, some say he is JEW. So what is he? He has tried to clear this up so many times but still conservation spear machine keeps bringing his faith and religion, so is this election going to be based on RELIGION and FAITH, I so hope not.
At the begining of the race, MSM pundits said, he is not BLACK enough or he is not WHITE enough, but he is an AMERICAN and values every American dreams and thats what important in this election, I think this election year is different from the pervious ones. Was there any candidate who had to go through all this, "RACE", "RELIGION", "FAITH", ah and not "AMERICAN or FOREIGN"? We might want to revisit if McCain "AMERICAN enough" as we all know now that he was born in "PANAMA". Has MSM got guts to re-raise the issue and bring the rumor to rest? My hats off to Mathew25 for bringing out this add and playing in tomorrows forum.
Buy American, Vote Obama

Obama camp is coming up with new theme "Buy American, Vote Obama" which will be launched in Pennsylvania tomorrow.
Obama's Pennsylvania campaign aide says
The events will feature a few dozen actual Harley riders for Obama that have been recruited for the weekend's events.
"Harley riders aren't typically supportive of Democratic candidates," the aide says. "But we're making a play for them by saying that Obama's economic policies are the true patriotic ones."
If "Buy American, Vote Obama" catches on, it could conceivably be unveiled in other battlegrounds.

Old Buddies Revisited
In a new webad DNC links McCain to Abramoff.
"Desperate to raise campaign cash to run more negative attack ads, John McCain is cozying up to Jack Abramoff's cronies."
We have to wait for McCain's camp's response on this allegation which all know would be a word or two. "LIE" or "NOT TRUE". But involving Mr. Ralph Reed to raise campaign cash certainly raises few eyebrows.

Dick Cheney and RNC's virtual War
Moscow's Obama angle
This really has, in a way, very little to do with the presidential campaign, but it's fascinating:
Russians were told over breakfast yesterday what really happened in Georgia: the conflict in South Ossetia was part of a plot by Dick Cheney, the Vice-President, to stop Barack Obama being elected president of the United States.
The line came on the main news of Vesti FM, a state radio station that — like the Government and much of Russia's media — has reverted to the old habits of Soviet years, in which a sinister American hand was held to lie behind every conflict, especially those embarrassing to Moscow. Modern Russia may be plugged into the internet and the global marketplace but in the battle for world opinion the Kremlin is replaying the old black-and-white movie.
The Obama angle is getting wide play. It was aired on Wednesday by Sergei Markov, a senior political scientist who is close to Vladimir Putin, the Prime Minister and power behind President Medvedev.
“George Bush's Administration is promoting interests of candidate John McCain,” said Dr Markov. “Defeated by Bara[c]k Obama on all fronts, McCain has one last card to play yet - the creation of a virtual Cold War with Russia . . . Bush himself did not want a war in South Ossetia but his Republican Party did not leave him any choice.” The Americans were now engineering an armed conflict between Ukraine and Russia, Dr Markov added.

Obama camp announced yesterday the launch of O'mobile site. Its a great step in embracing the technology and giving those people who "live and breathe on their cell phones". I think the target is once again YOUNG FOLKS. Don't be surprised in McCain camp come up with the mobile edition (if they already have not).

Jerome Corsi: The Obama Nation
Despite "all my apologies" for bigoted comments, Corsi reportedly scheduled to appear on "pro-White" radio show
Despite stating that he had apologized for what was described as a "series of bigoted and hateful posts," Jerome Corsi, author of The Obama Nation, is scheduled to appear with host James Edwards on the August 17 edition of The Political Cesspool Radio Show, which, according to its "Statement of Principles," "represent[s] a philosophy that is pro-White." In a blog post, Edwards has stated that "[i]nterracial sex is white genocide."
On Hannity & Colmes, Corsi still compounding book falsehoods with further falsehoods
On Hannity & Colmes, Jerome Corsi claimed that the "whole point" of his book The Obama Nation is that the assertion by Sen. Barack Obama that he stopped using illegal drugs when he went to college is "not reliable." But Corsi does not make that point in his book; rather, Corsi falsely asserted that Obama "has yet to answer questions" about his drug use. Sean Hannity asked Corsi, "[D]o we know if he ever sold drugs[?]" -- though Hannity has previously asserted that such a question was a manifestation of "politics of personal destruction."
Confronted by Brewer over falsehood, Corsi responds with two more
After being confronted by MSNBC's Contessa Brewer on his book's false claim that Sen. Barack Obama did not dedicate his own book to his mother and grandparents, Jerome Corsi responded with two more falsehoods.
Flashback: MMFA investigates: Who is Jerome Corsi, co-author of Swift Boat Vets attack book?
* Corsi on Islam: "a worthless, dangerous Satanic religion"
* Corsi on Catholicism: "Boy buggering in both Islam and Catholicism is okay with the Pope as long as it isn't reported by the liberal press"
* Corsi on Muslims: "RAGHEADS are Boy-Bumpers as clearly as they are Women-Haters -- it all goes together"
* Corsi on "John F*ing Commie Kerry": "After he married TerRAHsa, didn't John Kerry begin practicing Judiasm? He also has paternal grandparents that were Jewish. What religion is John Kerry?"
* Corsi on Senator "FAT HOG" Clinton: "Anybody ask why HELLary couldn't keep BJ Bill satisfied? Not lesbo or anything, is she?"
On Fox & Friends, Corsi contradicted his own book with another false claim
In The Obama Nation, Jerome Corsi writes that Sen. Barack Obama "has yet to answer" the question of whether "he stopped using marijuana and cocaine completely in college." But on Fox & Friends, Jerome Corsi contradicted that assertion, stating that Obama "fully admitted his drug use, both marijuana and cocaine. He says it continued through college." In fact, both of Corsi's allegations are false; Obama wrote in his memoir that he "stopped getting high" shortly after moving to New York City to attend Columbia University as an undergraduate.
Citing Media Matters report on Obama Nation falsehoods, MSNBC's Brewer asked Corsi: "[W]hy should we give you the credibility?"
After being confronted by MSNBC's Contessa Brewer on his book's false claim that Sen. Barack Obama did not dedicate his own book to his mother and grandparents, Jerome Corsi responded with two more falsehoods.
Unfit for Publication: Corsi's The Obama Nation filled with falsehoods
In its preface, Jerome Corsi compares his new book, The Obama Nation, to his 2004 book Unfit for Command. The comparison seems apt: Just as Unfit for Command contains false attacks on Sen. John Kerry's military service, a Media Matters review finds that The Obama Nation similarly contains numerous falsehoods about Sen. Barack Obama.
On three Hannity programs, Corsi offered another falsehood: Obama supports abortion "[a]fter a child's born"
Jerome Corsi, author of the book, The Obama Nation, falsely claimed on Hannity's America that Sen. Barack Obama said, "Even if a child was born ... the woman still had the right to kill the child in an abortion." Corsi similarly falsely asserted on Hannity & Colmes that "[a]fter a child's born, Obama ... in the [Illinois] state Senate, wanted the child killed if the mother desired an abortion," and on Sean Hannity's radio program, said that "Obama's on record as let's kill the baby if that's what the mother wants." In fact, Obama has never supported giving people the right to kill their children.
Publisher's promotional materials for Corsi's Obama Nation echo falsehood and baseless charge in book
Simon & Schuster's promotional materials for Jerome Corsi's book, The Obama Nation, echo Corsi's false claims and baseless charges about Sen. Barack Obama's Global Poverty Act and his views on nuclear weapons.
On Hannity & Colmes, another Corsi falsehood about Obama
On Hannity & Colmes, author Jerome Corsi claimed that in his upcoming book, The Obama Nation, "I do a great deal of analysis of [Sen. Barack Obama's] autobiography." Corsi then asserted, "Obama first presents his father as a great hero, and the truth was, his father was a polygamist and a alcoholic." However, contrary to Corsi's suggestion that Obama did not address these issues in his memoir Dreams From My Father, he discusses his father's alcoholism and polygamy in multiple passages in the book.
First reported allegation in Corsi's Obama attack book is false
A WorldNetDaily.com article about author Jerome Corsi's forthcoming book, The Obama Nation, asserts that the book "points out" that "Barack Obama admitted using drugs in his autobiography but never revealed if or when he stopped." In fact, Obama wrote in his autobiography, Dreams from My Father, that he "stopped getting high" shortly after moving to New York City to attend Columbia University.

Joe Trippi to Wolfson: Believe It or Not, Barack Obama Won It
I have to start by saying that I like Howard Wolfson, and respect him. Wolfson is one of the smartest, toughest and fiercest operatives in the Democratic party. I have worked with him, and I have been on the opposing side of him. Hands down I would rather be in a campaign with him.
So his comments declaring that if John Edwards told the truth and left the race earlier then he did, Hillary Clinton would be the Democratic nominee, leaves me scratching my head. Howard Wolson in denial too? Say it ain’t so.
In politics the number of things you can wonder “if only” about are legion in a losing campaign, and Hillary Clinton’s campaign has hundreds of them.
If only they had actually contested the caucus states, Hillary Clinton would have been the nominee.
If only they had known the campaign was going to last past February 5th, and planned accordingly, Hillary Clinton would have been the nominee.
If only they hadn’t spent all that money prior to Iowa, Hillary Clinton would have been the nominee.
If only they had figured out just a little earlier that change was more important than experience, Hillary Clinton would have been the Democratic nominee.
If only they had run a more bottom-up campaign that empowered people, Hillary Clinton would have been the nominee.
If only they had let Hillary be authentic, Hillary Clinton would have been the nominee.
And of course, if only Barack Obama had not run for President, Hillary Clinton would be the nominee.
If only, if only, if only.
But it was, in the end, the Clinton campaign that decided it was going to promote experience over change, while John Edwards and Barack Obama contested the nomination as change candidates.
Our data showed that the bulk of voters, in Iowa and elsewhere, who supported John Edwards wanted change. When asked who was their second choice if Edwards wasn’t in the race most chose Barack Obama.
John Edwards framed the race better than any other candidate to be about the status quo vs change. If that had an adverse impact on the Clinton campaign, why would that be the case? When you say status quo does anyone think Obama?
The Clinton campaign conducted itself in a way that made voters see Hillary Clinton as a status quo candidate. Its amazing that the first woman with a serious chance at the presidency could be seen that way. But it was the Clinton campaign that created that perception – not John Edwards, not the press, not Barack Obama.
If John Edwards had left the race before Iowa, Barack Obama would have defeated Hillary Clinton by a wider margin in the Iowa caucuses. Clinton would have almost certainly lost New Hampshire as many of the Edwards change voters voted for Obama, and then she would have lost Nevada for the same reason. The Clinton campaign’s calculation that the race would be over by February 5th would have proven correct except that Barack Obama would have sailed to the nomination that much sooner.
The country is hungry for change, and Barack Obama is the candidate Democrats chose to be the nominee.
John Edwards didn’t lose it for Hillary Clinton. Believe it or not, Barack Obama won it.

Corsi and his lies
Unfit for Publication
One of the most vile smear peddlers of the 2004 election has found a new target.
Jerome Corsi just published a new book full of rehashed distortions and the same old lies about Barack Obama, and the right-wing noise machine is in full gear promoting it.
In 2004, Corsi helped launch the Swift Boat smear campaign with a book of distortions and lies he wrote about John Kerry.
It’s up to you to spread the truth, so here it is. We’ve posted some of the facts about Corsi and his desperate fabrications on this page, but there’s even more in our (PDF)PDF: Unfit for Publication.
A LITTLE RESEARCH DISPROVES EVEN CORSI’S MOST BASIC CLAIMS
LIE:
The year 1995 was a banner one for Obama. He had just married Michelle and the couple bought a Hyde Park condo, the first home Obama ever owned.[p 145]
REALITY:
OBAMAS MARRIED IN 1992 AND BOUGHT A CONDO IN 1993
10/3/92 Obama And Michelle Robinson Were Married. [Chicago Sun-Times, 10/3/07]
1993 Obama Bought a Condo for $277,550. [Chicago Sun-Times, 1/22/06]
NONE OF CORSI’S DIVISIVE, REHASHED CLAIMS CHECKS OUT, EITHER
LIE:
Senator Obama could claim to be a citizen of Kenya, as well as of the United States. Obama can trace his heritage back to his mother, who was born in the United States and was an American citizen when he was born, and to his father, who was born in Kenya and was a Kenyan citizen when Obama was born. [p 103]
REALITY: OBAMA CANNOT CLAIM KENYAN CITIZENSHIP
Kenya Does Not Allow Dual Citizenship Applications for People Over 21 Years of Age. The U.S. Office of Personnel Management writes of Kenya, “DUAL CITIZENSHIP: Not recognized except for persons under 21 years old.” The Kenyan Constitution writes, “A person who, but for the proviso to section 87 (1), would be a citizen of Kenya by virtue of that subsection shall be entitled, upon making application before the specified date in such manner as may be prescribed by or under an Act of Parliament, to be registered as a citizen of Kenya: Provided that a person who has not attained the age of twenty-one years (other than a woman who is or has been married) may not himself make an application under this subsection, but an application may be made on his behalf by his parent or guardian.” [U.S. Office of Personnel Management; Kenyan Constitution]
Even if Obama Had Applied for Dual Citizenship Before He Was 21—Which He Did Not—It Would Have Expired. ”A person who, upon the attainment of the age of twenty-one years, is a citizen of Kenya and also a citizen of some other country other than Kenya shall, subject to subsection (7), cease to be a citizen of Kenya upon the specified date unless he has renounced his citizenship of that other country, taken the oath of allegiance and, in the case of a person who was born outside Kenya, made and registered such declaration of his intentions concerning residence as may be prescribed by or under an Act of Parliament.” [Kenyan Constitution]
CORSI CAN’T EVEN RECOGNIZE REAL RESEARCH WHEN HE SEES IT
LIE:
Christopher Hitchens noted on Salon.com that Michelle announces in her Princeton thesis that she has been influenced by the definition of ‘black separatism’ given by Stokely Carmichael and Charles Hamilton in their 1867 book Black Power: The Politics of Liberation in America. [p 232]
REALITY: USING A DEFINITION IS NOT THE SAME THING AS HAVING INFLUENCE
The Thesis Used Carmichael And Hamilton’s Definition Of Black Separationism In Her Study But Did Not Suggest She Was “Influenced” By It. Michelle Obama wrote in her thesis, “Stokely Carmichael and Charles Hamilton’s (1967) developed definitions of separationism in their discussion of Black Power which guided me in the formulation and use of this concept in the study…Thus, Carmichael and Hamilton define separationism as a necessary stage for the development of the Black community before this group integrates into the “open society”. The idea of creating separate social structure and cultural structures as suggested by these authors serves to clarify definitions of separationism/pluralism as they function in the dependent variable which tries to measure the 26 respondents’ ideologies concerning political and economic relations between the Black and White communities.” [Michelle Obama’s Thesis]
Few things to know about the Author:
He has crazy 9/11 conspiracy theories
Here are more of his lies.

Obama Camp's New Ad "ECONOMICS"
This morning the campaign released new video nailing Sen. McCain in taxes. MSM are reporting this ad as negative ad, but I say its a powerful ad based on truth.
Script:
“I’m Barack Obama and I approved this message.”
Economics … by John McCain.
Support George Bush 95 percent of the time.
Keep spending ten billion dollars a month for the
war in Iraq …
While the Iraqis sell oil for record prices.
Giving Iraq a $79 billion oil surplus …
And hurting our economy.
Barack Obama’s plan:
End the war responsibly.
Better schools.
No more tax breaks for oil companies.
Barack Obama … the Middle Class first.

Joe Liberman - Now and then
Now
One of the McCain campaign’s new themes, that Senator John McCain has always put his country first, has been seem by some analysts as a subtle suggestion that his opponent, Senator Barack Obama, has not.
But as he introduced Mr. McCain at a campaign event here on Tuesday, Senator Joseph I. Lieberman of Connecticut made the attack a lot more explicit, calling the election a choice "between one candidate, John McCain, who has always put the country first, worked across party lines to get things done, and one candidate who has not.
Then
"The worst thing that can happen is you loose and life goes on, I can say that with my experience"

McCain - “No Room For Partisanship” on Russia
We have been hearing different statements coming out of McCain campaign in the last couple days. Sometimes it says, go Georgia, we are all Georgians and today McCain proved that he would be Bush's third term with bold but ugly statement No Room for Partisanship on Russia
to Fox news. Rest to be aired later tonight. Will update on that later.
For a change he was asked about Sen. Obama's response and here is what Sen. McCain had to say.
I respect Senator Obama’s views and I believe that it’s important that we act in a bipartisan fashion now.
We can continue the same policy and arrogant or change the way washington works.

We are all Georgians!
We are all Georgians is patriotic but we are the citizens of world is not, I am amazed and tired with Sen. McCain's the say anything for political points. This wont work this time (I think).
The Maverick gets stuck a little in his jet-ski buddies name.
I know from speaking this morning to the President of Georgia, Misha Saakashvili, who I've known for many years, that he knows that the thoughts and the prayers and support of the American people are with that brave little nation as they struggle today for their freedom and independence. And he wanted me to say thank you to you, to give you his heartfelt thanks for the support of the American people for this tiny little democracy far away from the United States of America. And I told him that I know I speak for every American when I say to him, today, we are all Georgians.
After stumbling in his buddies name, here comes bitter again. To get the media attention away from his stumbling, the Maverick tries to deflect media raising BITTER comment and tries to control media (when he is the only one around the media). If he cant handle media when he is the only player around, I bet its going to take a lot of surrogates to do that and thats exactly whats McCain camp is and will do for the rest of the campaign.
According to Sen. McCain, election night is going to be very long.
I think we are going to be up late on election night, I'm the underdog in this race. I'm the underdog and I love being the underdog," he said. "But we are going to be up late in this night and I think you are going to hear the commentators say we are waiting for Pennsylvania, as Pennsylvania has been a battleground state in all elections in recent memory.I also think election night will be long but the outcome would be very interesting.
I actually liked when I read "We are born Americans and we will die Georgians in war with Russians", I seriously wish the assertion is wrong but POLITICS of FEAR is back in the game as if it was never there.

Is Sen. McCain Ready to lead?
What MSM is not asking is "Is Sen. McCain ready to lead?". I guess this is a fair question to ask, when right, left and center all are pounding on Sen. Obama with this question, they say he is naive, inexperienced and out of touch. As Bill Clinton mentioned few days back, no one is ready to be President (that might be his honest answer to the question) but in a way he is right. Same doubts were raised against Abraham Lincoln and John F Kennedy, and they turned out to be one of the best president of United states.
Sen. Obama had the judgement to call IRAQ war the wrong and dumb war. He was right. Last week Mr. Ron Suskind's book "The Way of the World: A Story of Truth and Hope in an Age of Extremism." revealed the forgery by the white house and their motive behind Iraq war was not WMD. Experience is needed and as Sen. Obama says VP chenny and Rumsfield are the most experience people in current administration but unfortunately they had wrong kind of experience. I would go with a little right kind of experience against the Veterans with wrong kind of experience. In my opinion Sen. Obama has the courage and right judgment when it matters, whether its a 3 am call or current Geogia/Russia conflict. When Sen. Obama said he will attack Pakistan if we have actionable intelligence and Pakistan government is not willing to act, everybody declared him to be naive and he should not be making these kind of statement while running for president, I thought the rest were trying to make political points. In contrary the current administration did the same and still doing the same (attacking targets in Pakistan) sometimes without even letting Pakistani government know about the future attack, now thats UNILATERAL approach by Bush administration which will be the McCain administration approach as well.
Is he ready to lead?
Iraq/Iran/Pakistan and Foreign Policy
When he has been making so many gaffes, some says he is a maverick, he rally's against his party on the issues that are vitals for America and he sees Americans first than Republicans. Over the past few months (after clinching party nomination) he has been putting Republicans first than Americans or America. Thats the new McCain we are seeing now, he promised not to run dirty campaign and now he is becoming the attack machine because his Republican friends and adviser like Rick Davis (DHL deal breaker) and Karl Rove are suggesting him to be aggressive (aggressive is a strong word and I would rather love Sen. McCain use these in foreign policy, climate change, ecomony ..).
1. He does not know sunni, Shi'ite and Al-Queda (Sen. Liberman had to remind him what is what).
2. He gets confused in Iraq/Pakistan boreder, Iran is in between those two unless McCain has already won the war against Iran and merged it with Iraq (then it makes sense).
3. He made new history by mistaking surge timetable.
4. Iraq has $80 billions in surplus and Sen. McCain still wants to send our tax dollars to IRAQ why? Halliburton? We are in deficit and he wants to send billions of dollar yes with a B to Iraq for re-construction, how about political re-conciliation first and have them get around with their own money.
4. He is against specific timetable for troops withdrawal but he says TIME HORIZON is good, oh yeah 100 years or may be more is what you are thinking.
ECONOMY/ENERGY
We have tons of youtube video where Sen. McCain himself said he does not know much about economy. I dont think we need to say anything more on this, simply he does not know anything besides criticizing Sen. Obama's economic plans, but he never comes up with detailed plan of his. His one of the best and dearest adviser said we are in mental recession and Sen. McCain echoed the same while he suggested on off shore drilling "we will have a psychological relief". Sen. McCain we are not looking for psychological relief instead we are looking for real solution.
Health Care
Same policies
Social Security
Same as current or Bush's policies, lets privatized it and I will be able to use that money in future wars.
Housing Crisis
I have 6 houses, i am not in trouble so the rest of America is not.
